Meet Our Founder
Founder and on-site owner Hope Doms brings more than two decades of industry experience to the chair and the classroom. Her work has been featured on television, in fashion and hair publications, and on major industry stages across the country. As a North American Hairstylist of the Year nominee and an educator who has trained stylists nationwide, Hope built Wair Studio on a foundation of mentorship, innovation, and elevated standards.

The Calligraphy Cut is Wair Studio's signature experience. The Calligraphy Cut takes dedicated training, and the stylists who offer it at Wair trained in the method. It's a craft, not a shortcut.
Using a precision calligraphy pen instead of traditional shears, the hair is cut at a specific angle rather than bluntly. It is designed to leave softer ends, more movement, natural volume and healthier-looking hair. The result is a shape that feels lighter, grows out beautifully, and styles effortlessly.

We use O&M CØR.color, an ammonia-free color line built for rich, lasting results. It is also free from PPD and resorcinol, so it is gentler on both your hair and your scalp.
